I was born under the Waning Crescent — the moon’s final sliver of light before darkness returned. This Balsamic Moon is often linked to soul wisdom, endings, and the sacred pause before rebirth. It’s a time of release and reflection — of clearing what no longer serves so something new can rise.

My son was born under the New Moon — the moment of pure potential, before even a sliver of light is visible. This is the energetic beginning of the lunar cycle — bold, instinctual, and pioneering. He came into this world carrying the spark of something new.

That means I was born just before the end, and he was born just before the beginning. We’re a perfect hinge — the closing and the opening of a greater rhythm. And our relationship has always felt like that: rare, sacred, and deeply meaningful.

He is the shimmer in the shadow,

the quiet inhale before the exhale,

a pulse in the fertile void,

a fire hidden in the ash.

I am the silence that teaches.

He is the thunder that builds.

I walk barefoot through memory.

He marches forward with purpose.

I plant prayers in the soil.

I carry wisdom like water —

slow, profound, and sacred.

He lays stone in sacred order.

He carries power like a talisman —

strong, steady, and true.

We walk different paths,

but something in our bond

whispers of a larger rhythm.

We are mother and son,

but also mystic and maker,

healer and warrior,

soul and spine.

Not meant to mirror,

but to reflect —
