What Is Truth? – How to Live Aligned With Your Own Rhythm

Many people struggle to understand truth. They ask, “What is my truth? How do I know what my truth is?”
Truth is beyond a personal belief system. Beliefs are subjective, shaped by culture, upbringing, and perspective. Truth, however, is deeper—it’s a living force.
What Is Truth?
Truth isn’t a static fact; it’s a living, breathing rhythm that moves through our lives.
It rises in our emotions, it whispers in our grief, and it burns in our passions.
For example, sometimes truth shows up as anger. We feel it first—the heart races, the chest tightens, fists clench. Anger says, “This isn’t right. Something is unjust.” When honored with awareness, anger doesn’t destroy—it ignites. It awakens a sense of purpose, a fire that pushes us toward what matters most.
And yet, life doesn’t pause when truth knocks.
Managing Dualities
When I lost my father, it was just days before the Summer Solstice—a season of light, energy, and growth. Collectively, it aligned with first-quarter moon energy: a time of building momentum and forward action. My business, too, was in a New Moon phase, birthing new beginnings.
But me? I was in grief. My heart was heavy, my energy waning. Inside, it was winter.
This is the paradox of truth: life often asks us to hold dualities at once. Growth outside, loss within. Expansion in one area, contraction in another.
Navigating these contradictions is rarely easy. But what I’ve learned—and what I teach—is that you don’t have to force yourself into a cycle that isn’t your own. You can honor the truth of where you are, even when the world around you is in a different season.
Truth is not always aligned with the external timeline. It’s aligned with your inner one.
And when you honor that—when you give yourself grace to live in your own rhythm—you find integrity, healing, and the deepest form of self-trust.
Seasons of Truth Chart
Life doesn’t move in a straight line. Each area of your life—spiritual, personal, business, relationships, finances—can be in a completely different season at the same time. Honoring where you are in each one brings clarity, compassion, and alignment.
Closing Reflection
What is truth? It’s not about aligning every area of your life so they are “in sync.” That’s impossible. You might be grieving in your personal life but flourishing in your work. You might feel financially stretched but spiritually abundant.
Truth is cyclical. Seasons don’t compete—they coexist.
✨ Final Prompt: Which area of my life is asking for action right now, and which area is asking for rest? How can I honor both truths at the same time?
